How to Play Lagos Life
Lagos Life looks like The Sims but plays like a light, tappable life-sim in your browser. Here's the full loop, from sign-up to your first naira.
Sign up free
Open Lagos Life in any browser (phone or desktop) and create a free account with your email. No app store download needed.
Create your Sim
Make your character and you'll spawn in your home with some starting naira (₦). This flat is your base — eat, sleep and decorate here.
Learn the four buttons
Home (your flat — tap objects to act), Buy (furniture & upgrades), Map (travel the shared city), Phone (Jobs, Messages, Bank and ~16 mini-apps).
Keep your needs up
Like The Sims, watch your bars: Hunger, Energy, Hygiene, Fun and Social. Let them crash and your mood tanks, which slows everything down.
Start earning
Do the daily tasks and the daily gem hunt for free naira, then open Phone → Jobs to get work. Then shop, socialise and climb the Forbes list.
The interface at a glance
The top bar shows the in-game clock and day, your mood, how many players are online, and your naira (₦) wallet with a + to top up. The bottom-left shows your avatar and need bars. The four bottom buttons — Home, Buy, Map, Phone — are how you move through the game.
On the Map you'll find sub-tabs like Free road, Billboards, Neighbours, Sea and Gov. The Phone opens a full smartphone home screen where the social side of the game lives.
The core gameplay loop
Earn money, meet your needs and buy things, unlock jobs, places and status, then climb the Forbes rich list and build relationships. Free naira comes from the daily tasks (shown on the Home screen) and the daily gem hunt, a shared timed event with cash prizes.
The game autosaves to your account in the cloud, so you can log in on any device and pick up where you left off. You can keep one life running with 'Continue' or start fresh with 'New life'.
